Project Role: Site Reliability Engineer
Project Role Description: Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting systems, as well as assisting with the development of new based solutions. Looking for a Midlevel engineer with experience in the fields of DevOps/SRE/CloudOps. The right candidate for this role has experience working with cloud platform, has experience with CI/CD and core responsibilities of SRE. Experience with GCP is a huge plus.

Work Location: Chennai
Shift – Day shift as per EST (Night shift as per IST)

Technical Expertise

Must Have Skills:

3+ Years of experience, in cloud development, dev-ops and/or SRE type roles.
Proficient with a cloud provider(s) GCP, AWS or .
Familiar with supporting microservices as containerized workloads.
Experience with IAC including gitlab and terraform (or similar tools)
Understanding of Kafka or similar messaging system.
Experience maintaining a CDN for a high traffic, performant website
Experience with maintaining a WAF.
Being comfortable creating and updating scripts and small applications in node, python, php and/or java.
Knowledge of best security practices for cloud and web applications
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Experience designing / maintaining / tuning high-performance systems to ensure optimal performance.
The right candidate will have a good communication skills and ability to work well with multiple teams.
A good sense of humor, a desire to make things better and an appreciation of challenges will help you succeed in this position.
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience.
Additionally, the candidate should be vendor and product agnostic and have ability to adapt and absorb new and emerging standards in the IT industry.

Ability to work for extended hours during peak business times, especially during Christmas, Valentine’s and Mother’s Day Holidays.
Ability to work for extended hours during production deployments and crucial project phases.
Ability to transcend time-zones to effectively interface with offsite and offshore development teams.
